The College of Biomedical and Life Sciences at Cardiff University has a proud history of producing world-leading researchers and pursuing research of the highest quality. In order to further facilitate quality research, a Cardiff University Biobank (CUB) has been established within the College of Biomedical and Life Sciences. In the CUB, we not only facilitate access to important clinical samples but also act as a driver for national/international research collaborations and provide a platform for sharing research outcome data, thereby strengthening the usefulness of the samples. The Biobank adhere to robust governance systems, ensuring all legal and ethical obligations are met.

The Biobank Technical Specialist will take responsibility for the processing and storage of biosamples as well as the laboratory management within the facility. We are seeking for someone who is passionate about helping deliver a world-class facility and will really make a positive impact.
