function summary
The Education Support Team in Wonford and Heavitree provides core and critical operational support for clinical teaching activity for students in all years of the BMBS across Devon.
this function focuses on the procurement and organisationof examiners and patients for the BMBS programme clinical exams in Heavitree.
It offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career within higher education administration and assessment. The need to work effectively and flexibly within a wider administrative team in a busy environment to deliver an excellent, customer-focussed and seamless service is paramount.
About you
You will have practice of completing projects within a higher education environment and ideally with some expertise of the complexity of a medical school. You should also have practice of and commitment to working with young people, ideally in an educational background. You will have gained success working collaboratively and proactively in a team to deliver multiple objectives and high service standards. We are seeking for someone with excellent organisational, IT and communication expertise.
You will be expected to provide specialist administrative support and act as a first/named point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. You will promote the consistent and correct application of processes, systems and codes of practice ensuring compliance with internal and external regulation.
We are seeking for a confident individual with a flexible approach, strong communication expertise, administrative practice in higher education with excellent attention to detail and the capability to manage a diverse workload.
