About the function:
An opportunity has arisen for a talented Training and Education Manager to supervise delivery of training and education initiatives across the Manchester Cancer Research Centre (MCRC) partners.
The function will be responsible for leading and delivering on the planned outputs of the recent Clinical Academic Training (CAT) award given to the Centre by Cancer Research UK. It will include working closely with the MCRC Director on several other new strategic education projects and building international collaborations related to Manchester-located programmes, including at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust.
About you:
You will educated to degree level or have equivalent significant practice. You will have broad practice of managing training and education programmes or activities, along with practice of working in the Higher Education sector. In addition, you will have practice in providing high level professional support in a complex and fast-moving environment. practice of managing projects from start through to completion and of communicating with staff at all levels is also essential.
