A UK leading Property Management company is seeking an individual with bank reconcilation practice to join their team of experts in Croydon as a full-time, permanent Accounts Administrator, supporting their Accounts Reconcilation team. Extremely close to public transport, their modern office is well known for its great working environment, large financial/accounting department and outstanding employee support.
Are you an entry-level accounts enthusaist or financial administrator with practice in bank reconcilation? Are you confident in helping to maintain financial control of our client's property portfolio through assisting with the reconciliation of 7,000 plus bank accounts, for which client money is held? If you are interested in applying your expertise within the rapidly growing property industry, you are at the right place! You will be responsible for offering the highest standard of service to clients/tenants at all times, reflecting HML's ethos and values.

MAIN tasks AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* To assist with the reconciliation of all 7,000 plus bank accounts for which client money is held within 28 days of the statement dates in line with best practice. Investigating any discrepancies and applying adjustments where required to ensure there are no receipts older than 1 month and payments over 6 months.
* To contact with internal departments to resolve all bank rec queries in a timely manner.
* To keep up to date bank reconciliation schedules detailing the last reconciled date and any outstanding items.
* To prepare and submit opening and closing bank account forms as required.
* To engage with the IT team with regards to the proposal and integration of system enhancements and to ensure adequate testing is undertaken.
* To manage all other tasks as they arise as a result of the above and as a result of the growth of the HML operation and its subsidiary businesses

* Bank Reconcilation and Administrative practice
* capability to work under pressure
* capability to meet strict deadlines and manage time efficiently
* Strong numerical expertise
