If you are looking for work opportunities over the coming weeks, we will have a range of functions that will give you insight into what a great career in the NHS can be. The hours of a bank worker can be flexible but we may also be able to offer longer term bookings. Once you have been prosperously registered onto the bank, we can put you in touch with department managers with whom you can discuss your circumstances and the hours you can commit to over the coming months.
In light of the current Coronavirus situation, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is experiencing very high demand on services over the coming weeks, which is also putting additional pressure on our teams.
We expect there will be additional staffing required during this period so we are offering the opportunity for our former employees who have recently left the Health Board to take-up bank work contracts.
Whilst the list of opportunities will change over the coming weeks we expect there to be functions across the three acute hospital sites and local community services.
Pay arrangements
Your income will reflect what you earned whist working at BCU, depending on the type of function you re-join into, but may also take into account more recent NHS practice you may have.
Block Bookings
We may be able to offer bank workers the opportunity for securing block bookings for a longer periods. Once registered on the bank, even if the shifts you can work are not visible on the EOL portal, it is recommended that you email your interest in block bookings to the bank team who may be able to arrange it with the department.
If there is a high volume of candidates the vacancy may be closed early so we encourage applications to be submitted as soon as possible
