Are you an practiced Lecturer in Physics and Chemistry? We're looking for you!
We are searching for a motivated and committed Lecturer in Science to deliver Physics and/ or Chemistry courses within the Science department of our college. As part of your function you will be required to teach on a variety of different learning programmes.
The prosperous candidate will support the Learning Area Manager with the development of the Science department by contributing to the safe upkeep of Laboratories alongside other departmental tasks and responsibilities.
You must have a good degree in Physics or Chemistry or a related Science subject.
The main aspects of the function are:
   » practice of teaching Physics and/ or Chemistry to students
   » capability to form good relationships with students aged 16-19
   » Excellent oral and written communication expertise, including presentation expertise Proven capability to enthuse and inspire others
   » Good IT and Analysis expertise with strong attention to detail #
   » To be adaptable and flexible
   » Assessing student's performance and providing thorough feedback
   » Ensuring students achieve their full potential in all aspects of their education
   » Being on hand to answer any student queries
   » Supporting the department and being a good team player
   » General administrative tasks and training when required
   » GCSE Maths and English grade C or above
   » Degree in Physics and/ or Chemistry or related Science subject
   » Candidates should hold a minimum of a Level 3 in Education and Training and will be expected to be working towards their Level 5.
   » It is desirable to have Assessor and/or an IQA qualifications
