adjunct (Academic Support):Job description:Job location: Milton Keynes Please quote reference: 21246 Terms: Fixed term contract until 31st October 2024, full time, 37 hours per week Closing Date: 2nd November 2023 - noon Flexible working patterns will be considered. Whilst hybrid working is possible with this function, there be a requirement to attend the Milton Keynes office as and when required. Currently we estimate this to be once or twice per week but more intensively during your induction and training period. The function We are seeking for an enthusiastic, positive, and adaptable new colleague to provide vital administrative and secretarial support to senior professional services staff in Academic Support team of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS). expertise and practice You will have general administrative practice, excellent organisation and IT expertise along good attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication expertise. A high degree of flexibility will be vital for this function along with the capability to be able to prioritise conflicting demands and to remain calm and professional when working under pressure. You must be open to new ways of working and passionate about fostering high performance with an knowledge about those smaller tasks that need to be accomplished intuitively to run a smooth and efficient office.
