Associate Learning Support adjuncts:Job description:Job location: Corby, Kettering We have a great opportunity located at our Kettering & Corby campuses for a flexible hourly-paid Associate Learning Support adjunct. As an Associate Learning Support adjunct, you will play a function in the success of our students through: » To be responsible for providing support to learners with the learning difficulties and/or disabilities in all aspects of the college curriculum. » To provide overall care of the learner and enable him/her to access the college facilities and develop independence within the wider community. » To be an active member of the Foundation/ main college team and to assist in the development of individual programmes and the assessment of student progress. Our ideal candidates will have practice of working with students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities and working expertise of Learner Support post 16, alongside the following qualifications: » Level 2 Learner Support Certificate or equivalent or/ willing to work towards » Educated to Level 2 in Maths and English prosperous candidates must also be able to demonstrate alignment to our organisational values: »Student centred - At our heart is always doing what is best for our students. They teach or provide support services and they work with and are supported by core staff. As an Associate you will be issued with an Associate agreement, under this Agreement period you will be eligible to work on assignments offered to you.
