Faculty of Environmental Science and Economy
The above full-time post is a Knowledge Transfer Partnership Associate function available immediately, on a fixed term basis, for 24 months. The function will be physically located at Applegate Marketplace's offices in Barnstaple, North Devon, the prosperous candidate will be expected to work at the Barnstaple office at least two days a week and in the house up to three days per week.
The function:
An exciting opportunity has become available to work on a 24 month Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) between the University of Exeter and Applegate Marketplace Ltd. Applegate Marketplace Ltd operates a B2B procurement platform connecting buyers and suppliers. The KTP will develop an AI tool to improve matching between buyers and sellers within the company's online marketplace.
The prosperous candidate will be employed by the University of Exeter but will be located at Applegate Marketplace in Barnstaple, North Devon. They will be expected to work a hybrid pattern with 2 days located in the office.
About you:
candidates should have a degree in Data Science, Computer Science or a related subject, and be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of data science, AI and machine learning. They should have excellent communication and problem expertise.
Addition desirable expertise are:
   » practice with generative AI
   » practice with AWS Services and AWS Cloud Services.
   » practice of developing complex data science methodologies
