About the school
The school of business, computing, and social science is located across three campuses within Cheltenham and Gloucester which provide inspiring learning and teaching environments. Law is part of Business School which is focused on producing career ready graduates and carrying out high quality research. We bring together excellent teaching, evidenced by outstanding NSS results. Our law students gain practice beyond the classroom through opportunities to participate in internships, Client Interviewing, Mooting, and our student Law Clinic.
About the function
We are seeking to appoint a new member of staff in the law subject area to join our dynamic, prosperous, and expanding community. We are seeking for applications who have practice of teaching in Higher Education and have an interest in research within a law context.
You should have capability to cover the fundamentals of law and it would be desirable that they have an skills in international and cyber law. Teaching across all levels of the curriculum we are particularly keen to hear from those with postgraduate practice. There would also be an expectation that you would engage with initiatives beyond the classroom, where appropriate, to support colleagues and enhance student practice.
