Clinical and Work-located expertise Facilitator:Job description:Job location: Cumbria The School of Medicine wishes to appoint a Clinical Teacher to join our enthusiastic and growing MBBS teaching team located at Westlakes campus in Whitehaven, Cumbria. This is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to further develop their practice of teaching and assessment in the field of clinical expertise. You will work be primarily involved with the planning, delivery and assessment of clinical expertise to students on the MBBS course but may also contribute to the teaching of physician associate students. You will teach clinical expertise as part of the MBBS Campus Day programme, including participating in simulation located medical education, and will provide mentoring and support to students from the School of Medicine within the workplace with regard to clinical placements, and clinical expertise and the assessment thereof, particularly with regard to Workplace-located Assessments (WBAs). Holding full registration with the NMC/GMC or equivalent you will have practice of working to professional standards. candidates should have previous practice of the teaching and assessment of clinical expertise as well as excellent time management and organizational expertise.
