The Position: We are seeking to recruit a childcare assessor on a fixed term contract (up to 3-6 Months Absence Cover) for 37 hours per week.
Are you an practiced early years practitioner or primary school teacher wanting to share your knowledge and skills with the next generation? If you would like a new challenge this could be the function for you. You will have an assessor's qualification alongside recent industry practice within a childcare setting.
You would be working within a lively and forward-thinking directorate who will work together to support you on your journey.
What skills are we looking for:
   » A multitasker -you must be able to work on a variety of tasks in a flexible manner.
   » A creative thinker -you will have the freedom to bring innovations and new ideas to the directorate.
   » A completer -you will take responsibility for a group of learners to ensure a timely completion of the skills requirements whilst in a work placement.
Responsibilities for the function:
   » To prepare learners for their practice of work.
   » To assess learners' knowledge and knowledge.
   » To provide support to a group of learners whilst in placement to ensure success in their learning.
   » To support the learner journey.
The Job location: You will assess learners in their work placement, this could be located in Warwickshire or Leicestershire dependent upon the campus that the learners are studying at. There is some flexibility to work in the house to complete planning and to log assessments.
