The Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre is seeking a Business Alliance agent to establish and develop strategic relationships and partnerships between AMIC and the business community, leading the writing and submission of collaborative grant applications.
You will work collaboratively with industry, technology providers, national technology centres, and academia to secure key partnerships and projects focused on advanced manufacturing activities.
Our mission is to provide you with the environment to innovate and create impact - for business and society, in Northern Ireland and globally.
The prosperous candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:
   » Honours degree or equivalent in a significant subject area e.g. Engineering, Manufacturing, Engineering/Technology Management, ICT with significant recent and significant practice OR minimum HND in a related discipline with broad recent and significant practice.
   » Demonstrable recent and significant practice of working prosperously and collaboratively within an industrial or university-located research environment.
   » Proven recent and significant practice of managing relationships and project management in a collaborative context.
   » Evidenced practice of working with the business community prosperously delivering socio-economic results.
   » An knowledge of the processes involved in compiling grant/contract bids.

This post will be appointed for 3 years in the first instance. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availcapability of funding.
