We are seeking for an practiced occupational therapist to support the delivery of our highly valued pre-registration BSc and MSc occupational therapy programmes. this function is for 0.4 FTE to cover maternity leave until February 2025. We are seeking for someone with higher institute practice (level 5) or someone who is considering a move into academia to build on their clinical and practice education practice (level 4).

The job
You will be expected to work with the occupational therapy programme team and across the wider Academic Unit to support a wide variety of teaching and learning activities.
Tasks may include;
   » contributing to the design and delivery of programmes including, session delivery, marking, examining and moderating across the programmes
   » supporting students on placement and presenting a positive image to all stakeholders
   » providing pastoral student support and academic counselling as required
   » supporting selection interviews and open days
   » active involvement in student research projects
   » quality monitoring and enhancement activities across Faculty and University teams
You will be joining a vibrant and driven academic team, who are passionate about extending knowledge in research, education, and practice to create integrated educational programmes unique to the Faculty and that make a positive difference to local and global health. You will receive support and line management from the Programme Manager.
