Background
The Development and Alumni Office (DARO) exists to support our academic and student community by engaging, inspiring, and celebrating alumni, individuals, and charitable funders who give their money, time, and networks to support the University's strategic priorities. The Office, which is comprised of five teams, is focused on fundraising and volunteering from alumni, organisations and individuals who are passionate about changing lives, through funding various research projects, supporting student bursaries, mentoring students, and providing internships, as well as providing a versatile programme of engagement opportunities for our global alumni community.
function Summary
The Regular & Digital Giving agent function is your opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and innovative team and to take our programme to the next level. We are keen to explore ways to grow our programme via crowdfunding, giving days, and by developing a mid-level/leadership abilities giving programme. Our Regular and Digital Giving agent will play an important function in scoping, piloting, evaluating, and establishing these new strands of earnings generation.
Required expertise, expertise, Qualifications, practice
   » Educated to degree level or equivalent practice.
   » practice of working in fundraising for Higher Education (HE) or the charity sector, preferably in Regular Giving or Individual Giving.
   » expertise of coaching and leading others, preferably students telephone fundraisers through work assignments, continuing developmental discussions, and constructive feedback.
   » Strong interpersonal expertise and the capability to interact effectively with a wide variety of audiences including senior colleagues, donors, alumni, academics, students, and external organisations.
