Offer: Social Venture Hub Manager:Job description:Job location: London LSE is committed to building a diverse, equitable and truly inclusive university income from £40,229 to £48,456 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £50,606 pa inclusive of London allowance This is a fixed term appointment for 18 months. The LSE Innovation team aims to maximise the benefits of LSE's research by helping academics turn their research ideas into new businesses, products or services to tackle today's biggest challenges. LSE Innovation have recently been awarded CCF-RED funding to provide targeted support for social venture formation, with a consortium of universities called ImpactU, including University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, University of Northampton and University of Coventry. We are hiring a Social Venture Hub Manager for an 18-month fixed-term position to set up a Social Venture Hub, an online training hub and networking platform for university-located social ventures. The Hub Manager will work closely with an LSE Innovation Manager to plan and create the Social Venture Hub, managing the project, planning a comprehensive curriculum and working with partners to deliver clear training resources, dynamic workshops, and an active social innovation network. Candidates should have previous practice in educational design and in social entrepreneurship, as well as the capability to build strong relationships with different external stakeholders, and strong project management expertise.
