The University of Nottingham Careers and Employcapability Service is a large,sector leadingprofessional service which is committed to advancing the prospects of our students andgraduates.located in locations across all three UK campuses, we work as one service toprovidecollaboratively conceived, locallymanaged,and collectively delivered services to students from all our Schools and Faculties.
The Careers and Employcapability Service has an excellenttrack recordin supporting its students in their transition fromuniversity, andinto the first steps of their future careers.This position is part of the Recruiter Services Team whichis responsible forthe organisation,administration,and promotion of a rangeof services for employersseekingto recruit Nottingham students/graduates for post-graduation employment, vacation work, workpractice and voluntary work.
tasks include liaising with a vast range of employers to publicise vacancies to students and graduatesthrough a range of media and arranging a variety of on-campus events.
The capability to work effectively,efficiently,and flexibly and to communicate with colleagues, students and stakeholders at varying levels is essential.There are periods in the year where a flexibility to work some evenings isrequired, to support on-campus event activity. Occasional early evening work will berequiredduring term time to support the events programme.
This isafull-time(36.25 hours), fixed termfunctionto 31st December 2024.Starting income will normally be the first point of the scale unless a candidate has significant significant expertise and practice.
