This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months full-time position
The London School of Economics and Political Science isrecruiting for a Digital Project Manager to deliver its website upgrade project for our website editors and digital community, through our content management system and in collaboration with various teams, stakeholders, and suppliers.
You will be responsible for leading digital improvements to our website and supporting infrastructure, coordinating updates, training and guidance to key users, interest groups and the Digital team.
Key to the function will be ensuring the delivery of high-quality outputs to the project, ensuring it is complete within scope, on time and on budget.
The post-holder will act as the interface between the digital team, all internal stakeholders within the school and our digital suppliers for the project.
Candidates should have:
-practice with delivering digital website projects across various sizes, budgets, and project lifecycle stages and producing written scope, requirements, business case objectives and status reports.
-expertise of project frameworks or methodologies and when to apply them to specific projects or challenges.
-expertise of digital practices, Content Management Systems (CMS), user practice, user acceptance testing, content strategy, web design and development, Google analytics, SEO, social media, and helpdesk management.
The post holder will work as part of the Digital Team reporting to the Head of Digital Communications, and work closely with LSE departments and our suppliers to release upgraded templates and content to LSE website editors.
