About the function
An exciting opportunity has come up to join the Student practice Team.
The prosperous applicant must provide a high quality, student focused frontline wellbeing service. This will include supporting students with advice and support around their time at the college in a mental health and wellbeing capacity. The post holder will establish continuing communication and positive relationships with students, peers, faculty and external contacts toensure students are provided with the best possible support and guidance.
You must possess excellent communication and inter-personal expertise. Effective communication expertise are fundamental to this function and this extends to communications to students, curriculum and other professional services staff as well as external partners. Additionally, you must have practice of providing guidance and support to students on a one-to-one basis and within a group setting, practice of supporting people with mental health issues, including appropriate management of students in crises and practice of providing educational support to students with mental health issues, disabilities, and learning difficulties.
