The opportunity
University of the Arts London (UAL) is seeking a PA/Administrator to join us on a permanent basis.
You will provide general administrative support to Academic Registry in the operation of the assessment and quality processes of the University, acting as a first point of contact for assessment and quality, answering basic queries and providing first class customer support.
You will provide secretarial and administrative support to the Academic Registrar and Heads of Section, whilst also acting as the finance administrator for Academic Registry.
In addition to this, you will support the operation of University academic committees, which will include organising meetings, minute taking and preparing agenda items.
About you
The ideal candidate will have practice in administration, preferably in the Higher Education sector (but not essential).
They will have excellent communication expertise (verbal and written), be able to devise communications for different audiences and have practice of basic finance administration.
They will be able to use their initiative, have excellent planning and organisational expertise and be able to work on a number of activities simultaneously.
