The function
The School of Humanities is seeking to appoint an exceptional Senior Executive adjunct on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave (approximately 12 months).
This is an important executive function within the School, the main purpose of which is to provide high-level, professional and proactive executive assistance and personal support to the Head of School and School Manager in running the School. The Senior Executive adjunct will manage a small team comprising two Executive adjuncts and an Admin adjunct who form the Executive Support Team.
What will you be doing?
The Senior Executive adjunct leads a team of colleagues to provide high-level executive support to the School of Humanities Senior management team, but also to other members of School.
The function holder will organise their own day-to-day and will provide excellent customer service to colleagues. A typical day in this post finds the Senior Executive adjunct managing the team, providing personal adjunct support to the Head of School inc. complex diary management, dealing with day-to-day queries from the team and staff within the school.
