About the function
The Faculty of Science is seeking a proactive and self-motivated Programmes Administrator to join our Taught Programmes Team in this part time (0.8FTE), permanent post.
You will play a key function, working closely with other team members and academic staff to ensure the smooth and efficient administration and operation of our distance learning degree programmes within the Faculty.
The Faculty brings together 5 departments in Science and has an excellent reputation for teaching and research.
We create a supportive environment in which to lgain and grow and offer many professional development opportunities with a strong belief in the value of investing in our teams and our people.
We are currently trialling a hybrid working model of both campus and home working which would mean a minimum 2 days a week on campus for this part time function and the rest of the time working in the house if desired.

Previous practice
You will have previous practice of working in an administrative support function (preferably with practice of student administration) or equivalent practice working in a busy office in an administrative function.
HE practice would be beneficial.
