JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: » 2 years practice in an Accountant position or a related accounting function. » Post-secondary Advanced Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, a related program, OR equivalent practice. » CPA designation is an asset. » practice with accounting software and the capability to lgain new systems, including ERP. practice with Syspro and/or Unicom Finance/Cognos is a plus. » Advanced practice using Office 365, with a focus on Microsoft Excel and Outlook » capability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing work priorities. » Strong analytical and organizational expertise. » Advanced verbal and written communication expertise. » capability to plan and execute assignments with general guidelines and workindependently. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES/tasks: » Perform month end reconciliations and journal entries. » Complete monthly working papers and provide flux commentary on variances. » Execute, analyze, and distribute various financial statements and reports. » Conduct everyday bank reconciliations and facilitate payments. » Investigate and respond to internal and external inquiries and provide data asrequested. » Assist in internal and external audit requests. » Review AP payment runs for approval and accuracy. » Complete additional tasks as assigned.
