About the function:
We are currently looking for a Recruitment agent within the Human Resources Department to join the recruitment team at Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute in providing a high quality, comprehensive and proactive recruitment support service to the Institute.
You will use your knowledge and skills to support recruiting managers and will coordinate all aspects of the Institute's recruitment and selection processes from advertisement through to appointment. For all prosperous appointments, you will be responsible for ensuring all the pre-employment checks, including right to work checks, are met and satisfied. You will also be responsible for providing a comprehensive HR induction for new appointees.
About you:
You should be educated to degree level in HR management, recruitment or a business-related subject (or equivalent significant practice) or CIPD Level 5 qualification in Human Resources Management, along with practice of working in a recruitment function, managing recruitment and selection activities which includes practical practice of interviewing candidates. You should have previous practice of applying HR policy and practice to practical situations along with practice of working in a busy HR Department. You will have a knowledge and knowledge of current employment legislation and its implications, including the right to work in the UK, UK GDPR and equality legislation. practice of working within an academic environment or a not-for-profit organisation is desirable.
