The Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences (NDPCHS) is seeking a professional, friendly and customer-focused individual to join our busy departmental finance team that supports our world leading researchers and students.
The Finance Administrator plays a key function processing a range of financial transactions relating to purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and expense claims accurately and in a timely manner. Working closely with the other members of the finance team, you will promote and maintain a customer-focused, high-quality service, and ensure all financial transactions are processed and recorded accurately and in line with university financial controls. It is important that you are able to work well with others and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people. In addition, you will need to possess initiative, the capability to work to deadlines and to maintain a high level of attention to detail given the tasks involved.
NDPCHS is committed to the continuing professional development of its professional services staff, and in-house and on-the-job training will be provided as appropriate. Staff are encouraged to explore the University's Work Lgain Develop programme of funded professional training and development opportunities for university staff and this function also provides an excellent opportunity for a appropriate individual to pursue a finance qualification while working for NDPCHS.
