Offer: Lecturer in Data Science for Healthcare:Job description:Job location: Reading The Department of Computer Science is seeking to appoint an outstanding Lecturer in Data Science for Healthcare to join the team at Reading as one of four new appointments to provide high quality teaching and research. Essential for this function is that you: » Have a PhD in computer science or a related field, and a strong reputation for rigorous international research in Clinical Data Science and analysis. » Have well developed expertise of the fundamentals of computer science as appropriate for teaching across the curriculum at UG/PG level. » Have excellent research publications of international standing on Data Science. » Have a strong commitment to student support and the enhancement of the learning practice. » Have the capability to work collaboratively alongside a diverse range of colleagues. » Have a flexible and adaptable approach to your work and a readiness to lead and participate in teams. » Have the capability to develop your own materials and approaches to teaching, and the expertise to analyse students' learning practices.
