income Range (Commensurate with practice):
Group 5 $72,046 to $81,873

We are seeking for an energetic and organized individual to manage Building Services Legislative Compliance and Access Control position for the London District Catholic School Board. Reporting to the Manager of Custodial Services, the prosperous candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, updating, tracking and coordinating all administrative tasks related to legislative compliance, access control and safety.

Qualifications and practice:
 
   » Post-secondary education is required. The ideal candidate will have a college diploma in a technical background
   » Minimum 3 years of working practice in a related field
   » Familiar with Ministry of Education “Safe Schools” initiatives and implementation
   » knowledge of current legislative requirements including lead in water, well water, OHSA and Fire Code, designated substances, technical education
   » practice in administering access control systems
   » practice with facilities management software and record keeping
   » practice liaising with outside agencies including Ministries, building officials, fire departments, police services, laboratories, and consultants
   » practice with emergency planning protocols and best practices
   » Able to read blueprint and building design drawings
   » Excellent communication, both written and verbal
   » Excellent organizational expertise, including document management, record keeping, report writing
   » Self-motivated with a proven capability to work effectively within a team and independently
