International Recruitment and Conversion agent:Job description:Job location: Manchester ManchesterMetropolitanUniversityis currently recruiting anInternationalRecruitment and Conversionagent to joinitsInternationalRecruitmentand Conversion team. TheInternationalOffice isresponsiblefor therecruitmentandsupportofinternationalstudents, overseas partnershipdevelopmentand studentmobilityprogrammes, driving the internationalisation of theUniversityand ensuring thatManchesterMetropolitanUniversityretains and enhances its global profile. The International Recruitment and Conversion agent will support the implementation of the Internationalisation Strategy and advance the profile and reputation of the University overseas, through developing and delivering a wide variety of recruitment and conversion activities to contribute to and support the achievement of international student recruitment. The postholder will be required to work flexibly to develop, manage and deliver activities across the wider team, supporting the operational delivery of international recruitment and conversion initiatives, as required. Tasks vary from responding to initial prospective student enquiries, arranging and attending in-person and digital recruitment and conversion activities for prospective students until enrolment. They will also be required to undertake international travel representing the university overseas for up to 4 weeks per year. The postholder will contribute to and support the achievement of student recruitment KPIs, supporting the achievement of challenging performance targets, as set out in the University's Road to 2023 and the Internationalisation Strategy. Youwillhave practice ofinternationaleducationand studentrecruitment, ideally in a UK HigherEducationcontext. Youwillhave a track record of success,developingmarketing or sales plans and meeting or exceeding targets. In addition to significant practice, youwillneed to demonstrate thecapabilityto thinkcreatively, find and implement novel solutions, andcommunicateyour ideas withsensitivityanddiplomacy working across a wide variety of colleagues internally and externally.
