Oxford Brookes University is looking to recruit an practiced, reliable and highly motivated Residences Support adjunct as a member of the Residence team to lead in delivering a positive culture where the student practice and welfare are key priorities. Our students spend a large part of the time with us in Residences so we recognise the need to ensure this is a positive, exciting and well supported part of their University life.

Working hours for the post ofResidences Support adjunct:
This is a Part-time post which is 30 hours over 5/7 days per week, typically Monday to Friday 11:30am - 6pm, with the requirement to work some weekends for open days and arrivals weekends. Oxford Brookes is supportive of flexible working, part-time working and job sharing. candidates who would like to have a working arrangement like this are encouraged to apply for this post. Overall Purpose of the post ofResidences Support adjunct:
   » To provide cover reception and deal with enquiries by phone, in person and by email
   » To provide a friendly and dedicated service to residents at the halls
   » To support the Hall with a range of administration and reception tasks including ensuring hard and electronic copies are kept up to date and organsied
   » To support residents with issues and to provide a first line ?triage? response to incidents on site
   » To ensuring the Site presents well and is safe at all times.

Qualifications and Key expertise :
   » Excellent organisational expertise, capability to multitask, undertaking several ventures at the same time

   » The capability to build effective relationships with other departments in the organisation.
