Job Offer: Chaplaincy Coordinator (107770-0424):Job description:Job location: Coventry The Chaplaincy Co-ordinator will often be the only team member available in the Chaplaincy and therefore is the 'face' of the Chaplaincy and responsible for dealing with a full and challenging range of issues: distressed students, grieving parents, concerned tutor etc. Because of this the post requires independent working and the post holder will need to be able to demonstrate initiative to direct students to Chaplains, wider pastoral support and other areas of support on campus, as appropriate. A large proportion of the function is administrative and project management, and therefore the post holder needs the capability to organise a busy, heavy workload and deal with various tasks simultaneously and be able to juggle competing priorities. Most Chaplains are at the University only part of the time and therefore liaison needs to be carefully managed and coordinated. In addition, the decision making structures are flat/ collegial, which means the Coordinator needs to ensure that mechanisms are in place for input into decisions from all and to understand when delegated authority can be applied. The structure necessitates that the Coordinator be highly autonomous and proactive. For informal enquiries, Contact Us by Sophie Coogan via email: sophie.coogan@warwick.ac.uk. Full details of the tasks and selection criteria for this function can be found in the vacancy advert on the University of Warwick's jobs pages. You will be routed to this when you click on the Apply button. Skills:
