The function
The School of Humanities is seeking to recruit a Senior Student Administrator to join a large and vibrant education team on a fixed term basis at 0.8 FTE.
The functionholder would be required to take responsibility for specific areas of administration which support the student admin-related processes within the School and supervise the work of the Education Team in specific delegated areas.
The functionholder will be required to act as deputy to the Student Administration Manager (SAM) and Deputy SAM, and support him/her in the overall student administration for the School.
What will you be doing?
In particular, this function will have specific responsibility and oversight of the administration of incoming and outgoing study abroad students in the School. This activity will include tasks such as: unit registration, welcome week events, communication to students, management of BlackBoard sites, marks and transcript conversion, processing student records, exam boards, and working closely with Study Abroad Academic Directors, the Global Opportunities/Centre for Study Abroad team and other related parties.
