An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer to join our innovative, award-winning BSc (Hons) Nutrition and Dietetics programme at the University of Winchester. We pride ourselves on a culture of team support and inclusion for our students and our staff. We strive to deliver high quality teaching and learning practices that equip our students to work effectively within the current and future health and care system.
We are seeking for an practiced dietitian with the skills to lead our year 2 and 3 practice education modules. This will include the delivery of practice education preparation sessions, tutoring and assessment. In addition to this, the post holder will deliver a highly innovative 18 day simulated clinical placement. There will be opportunities to further develop simulation and alternative models of practice education delivery.
The post holder will have skills in practice education, clinical effectiveness, leadership abilities and professional development. The prosperous candidate will be expected to have a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards it.
The prosperous candidate will be flexible and be able to support teaching and learning across the program and wider department, including leadership abilities and professional development and dietetic research. There will be opportunities for multi-professional teaching and learning including simulation.
