About the function
The School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London is looking to recruit a Research adjunct or Postdoctoral Research adjunct in AI for Music. The Centre for Digital Music has been awarded an Innovate UK grant, collaborating with a pro-audio company. The post-holder will work on lyrics generation using LLMs.
About You
candidates must have a Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent). candidates at the PDRA level must have a PhD in Computer Science or a related field. Candidates must have substantial expertise inDeep/Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs) Natural Language Processing and familiarity with Generative AI especially for lyrics, poetry or prose.

The post is located at the Mile End Campus in London. It is a full-time/part-time (35/17.5 hours per week), fixed-term appointment starting as soon as possible and finishing by 31 March 2025. The starting income will be Grade 4.
