This position is located in the Finance & Operations team at the Sheffield University Management School. Working with and supervising the Events & Operations Support agent, the postholder will play a key function in planning and project managing the delivery of all SUMS events from concept, helping to define aims and objectives & preparation through to post event evaluations and feedback. Activities you will support include: » Organising conferences, seminars & workshops stimulating and disseminating the School's research activity via our research centres and groups. » Staff away days & induction/training events » Learning and teaching events including supporting student wellbeing » Student field trips to local and national sites You will be required to maintain and build a network of contacts with external suppliers and venues to enhance the level of customer service and quality to University staff, students and external stakeholders.
