We are currently expanding both research and teaching activities in the field of Geographical Information Science and we would expect the prosperous application to contribute teaching in areas such as applied and theoretical GIS, remote sensing, spatial analysis and/or GIS software development. The appointee will be expected to teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as undertake a range of administrative and pastoral tasks. The job description and person specifications for this lectureship can be found at the end of this document. Candidates will be asked to make a presentation on their research interests and teaching practice, and to outline how they will contribute to the department.
