Offer: QA Manager:Job description:Job location: Remote As our student numbers increase and we continue to diversify our programmes and portfolio, We are seeking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Academic Registry team on a remote/home working basis from within the UK. Academic Registry plays a key function in the University's central academic administration and has responsibility for the integrity of awards made by the University in line with its Degree Awarding Powers and for quality and standards assurance of all programmes. This is a great opportunity to enter a well-established and respected department. As our Quality Assurance Manager , you will support the University's quality assurance policies and procedures, particularly in relation to programme development, modification and approval. Ensuring quality assurance and enhancement within programme approval, which supports a cycle of continuous improvement, leading the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of enhancements. As our Quality Assurance Manager you will be responsible for: » Co-ordination and support for developing and implementing processes and policies in relation to quality assurance and enhancement. » Co-ordination and support for the monitoring and reporting of university risk as it relates to academic quality and student results. » Providing high-level support for programme development, modification, and approval processes for the University. Including providing feedback on proposal through appropriate approval activity. » Leading on facilitating periodic reviews of the University's programme portfolio » Production of accurate formal documentation in relation to the work of the programme approval committee, and related programme approval projects. » To assist with oversight of the currency and accuracy of the University's documentation of academic programmes and modules, working closely with, and communicating changes to stakeholders from across the University » To act as Secretary to the Ethics Committee and leading on the administration of Ethics Committee applications. We are seeking for people who are/have: » Recent, significant practice of working within a similar function within the Higher Education sector or similar organisations » practice of quality and standards assurance and enhancement in Higher Education » practice of programme approval and modification processes » practiced in participating in and/or supporting committees, working groups » knowledge of compliance with external regulatory requirements in Higher Education or similar organisations (i.e. Office for Students, Quality Assurance Agency, Professional and Regulatory Bodies).
