Full-time 35 hours per week Open-ended: permanent The opportunity: The School of Engineering is looking to recruit a Student practice agent to play a key function in the enhancement of the taught student practice. Working in partnership with staff and students, the postholder will plan and deliver activities and events that promote a sense of belonging and build community. They will promote student representation and support Peer Assisted Learning and Support Schemes (PALS) across the School, building relationships with key staff and student groups. The postholder will work closely with current and incoming students, whilst supporting academic and professional services staff in supporting the implementation and continuing delivery of the new model of Student Support. This post is full-time (35 hours per week), and we are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working. Your expertise and attributes for success: » practice in Higher Education student practice and/or student administration » High level of computer literacy with good working expertise of Microsoft Office, including Sharepoint » Excellent communication expertise (written and verbal) » Proven team-player with a collaborative approach to working flexibly with colleagues at all levels Skills:
