Offer: Research Administrator: Creative Research into Sound Arts Practice (CRiSAP):Job description:Job location: London, Hybrid The opportunity UAL's newly established Centre and Institute Operations Service seeks to recruit an practiced and proactive administrator to join the team on a part-time basis. The prosperous candidate will be specifically assigned to support Creative Research into Sound Arts Practice research centre (CRiSAP) located at London College of Communication (LCC), working with the Centre Manager, Director, and other colleagues to deliver its diverse portfolio of activities. CRiSAP is a research centre dedicated to the exploration of the rich complexities of sound as an artistic practice. Their main aim is to extend the development of the emerging disciplinary field of sound arts and to encourage the broadening and deepening of the discursive context in which sound arts is practiced. About you To succeed in this function, you will have excellent planning and organisation expertise. You will be reliable and pride yourself on delivering high-quality work on time, with excellent attention to detail. You will be motivated, hardworking and diligent, able to work independently across multiple long-form projects, using your initiative and creative problem-solving expertise, and prioritising tasks when needed to deliver on time. Excellent verbal and written expertise are paramount, alongside the capability to work collaboratively as part of a team. You will have practice of working in an administrative or production function with communications and events practice, preferably within the creative industries or creative research. A knowledge and knowledge of sound arts, practice-located research or another creative subject area is desirable.
