This is a fixed term appointment for 2 years
The World Economic Forum and LSE Health are seeking to appoint a Research Fellow to join the André Hoffmann Fellowship for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, focusing on Health System Financing & Payment Models. This two-year, full-time fellowship provides an unparalleled opportunity to influence the transformation of global healthcare systems through the lens of economic and payment innovations supported by digital advancements.
The Research Fellow will play a pivotal function in shaping health financing policy and practice by developing initiatives that leverage technology to overcome current health challenges. This position is co-hosted between the World Economic Forum and LSE Health, requiring a dynamic individual capable of bridging theory and practice to drive impactful, action-oriented results.
Candidates should have:
   » A Postgraduate degree in a significant discipline, such as health economics, epidemiology, health services research, health policy or social policy, with qualitative and quantitative methods training and/or practice that includes the conduct of economic evaluations.
   » A PhD or other research practice that demonstrates the capacity to produce independent original research in this field.
   » practice of carrying out evaluations and analysis of policy, financing and digital technology in health systems and services.
   » capability to analyse and research complex ideas, concepts or theories, and to apply appropriate methodologies for analysis of economic and health data.
   » Good expertise of international healthcare delivery, payment models, digital health and health technology reimbursement policy.
   » Excellent written and verbal communication expertise, and capability to communicate research findings effectively.
