Job Description

This is a full time warehouse position offered under the Canada Summer Jobs program.
The prosperous applicant will be expected to complete 8 weeks at 35 hours per week.
Pay will be $18.25 per hour
There may be an opportunity to continue part time hours at the same hourly rate after the CSJ program ends.

Job Details:

1. Inventory Tracking:
• Task: Regularly update and maintain inventory records in our management system.
Responsibility: Ensure all inventory data is accurate and current, reflecting any changes in stock levels promptly.
2. Stock Audits:
• Task: Conduct regular physical inventory counts and compare them against system records.
Responsibility: Identify discrepancies between physical stock and records, investigating and resolving any issues.
3. Order Processing:
• Task: Assist in processing incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.
Responsibility: Manage and update inventory levels located on order processing, maintaining optimal stock levels.
4. Reporting:
• Task: Generate and submit inventory reports, highlighting key metrics such as stock levels, discrepancies, and turnover rates.
Responsibility: Provide insights and recommendations located on report findings to improve inventory management.
5. Quality Control:
• Task: Inspect incoming inventory for quality and accuracy, ensuring compliance with purchase orders.
Responsibility: Address and report any quality issues, ensuring only products that meet our standards are stocked.
6. Inventory Policy Compliance:
• Task: Adhere to and enforce inventory control policies and procedures. Responsibility: Maintain an organized and efficient inventory system, complying with industry standards and company policies.
