The Deputy Principal - Education is a senior leadership abilities function with responsibility for leading and driving the University's programmes of study and academic standards. Reporting directly to the Principal and Vice Chancellor, and as a member of the executive team, this function will play a full part in shaping the overall strategic direction of the University and is pivotal in advancing the University's education, teaching, and learning portfolio.
The prosperous postholder will possess broad leadership abilities practice in a senior academic function, with a strong track record of delivery in education, learning and pedagogy. broad expertise of key factors impacting higher education in the UK and internationally will be highly advantageous, as will an evidenced capability of incorporating trends and best practices to benefit students. Demonstrable practice of identifying, fostering, and building strategic collaborations and partnerships with external stakeholders will be key, as will outstanding communication and influencing skills.
