UCC wishes to appoint an practiced academic to the function of Lecturer in Education (Science Education). Reporting to the Head of School, the appointee will contribute to teaching and learning on the Bachelor of Science Education and the School of Education more widely. In addition, the appointee will be expected to engage broadly in school placement work, supporting postgraduate studies and undertaking research. This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative School of Education immersed in the education of teachers at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and supported by a vibrant research culture.

Appointment may be made on the Lecturer (Below the Bar) income Scale: €38,662 - €67,426 (Scale B) / €40,689 - €64,159 (Scale A).
