The College
An opportunity has arisen for an innovative mental health nursing educator to join our team of dedicated academics to support the delivery of courses in nursing and healthcare at UG and PG level.
The academic team, together with the support of administrative and technical staff, deliver programmes to student nurses and nursing associates across our London and Reading campuses. Essential to this position will be the capability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with healthcare providers in Berkshire, Central and North-West London and West London.
The Person
The prosperous candidate will have expertise and clinical practice in the specialist area of mental health nursing. An excellent appreciation of the NMC (2018)Future Nurse: Standards of Proficiency for Registered Nursesis essential. Candidates should demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication expertise to work collaboratively with students, other academics, clinical practitioners, and with our support and technical staff. You will be expected to assist in the development and delivery of learning materials that are significant, evidence-located and current, in order to maintain the high quality of learning and teaching connected with the college.

candidates must be registered with the NMC as a mental health nurse, hold a first degree in a significant subject and a recognised teaching qualification for Higher Education if applying for Senior Lecturer position.
