About the function
An exciting function has arisen for a passionate communicatorandPR professionalto join the Luminate Education Group Communications team to deliver the group's key messages and strategic priorities, improving impact, visibility and engagement across Leeds, Keighley and Harrogate.
Working with the wider team, the communications agent is responsible for media relations activity, stakeholder engagement and internal and external communications.

What You Will Do
   » The Communications agent will support our internal and external communications strategies across the FE colleges and for Luminate Education Group.
   » Write and disseminate a variety of communications for both internal and external audiences across B2B and B2C markets.
   » Create effective content including press releases, thought leadership abilities articles, website content, award entries, case studies, emails and letters for the FE colleges and Luminate Education Group.
   » Work closely with members of the Communications team to support with media relations activities for the FE colleges and Luminate, including media monitoring and newsjacking to seek opportunities.
   » Take an active function in social media activities to ensure all communications are correctly shared and online engagement is optimised.
   » Support with drafting various internal communications, including newsletters and blogs.
   » Provide the FE colleges and Luminate Education Group with crisis communications support.
About You
   » practice in planning and implementing multi-audience communications campaigns and activities.
   » Creating communications for different audiences.
   » Writing for a range of platforms and outlets.
   » Working with journalists and a range of stakeholders.
   » Good knowledge of why effective communications can impact the reputation of a brand.
   » consciousness of how the political landscape, regionally and nationally, can impact communications.
   » capability to manage expectations with both internal and external audiences.
   » Being organised and having the capability to work well under pressure.
