About the Job
We are pursuing to appoint an Innovation and expertise Exchange Development Manager to join the Research and Development Support (ReDS) Team within the Office for Postgraduates, Research and Engagement (OPRE) to provide high quality support for our research community with a focus on the development, submission, and set up of innovation and expertise exchange grants. As part of a supportive and forward-thinking team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of people who share a passion for creating positive change. Working closely with the Research Development Managers within ReDS, academics and Directors of Impact and Innovation across a broad range of disciplines, you will target support effectively as we deliver our Vision 2028 ambition to grow research and expertise exchange earnings to increase the economic, social, and cultural impact of our activities to the communities we serve.
About You
You will bring practice of prosperously providing specialist advice and support to researchers for the development of externally funded projects, particularly from Innovate UK and KTPs, at a UK HEI. With detailed expertise of UK funding schemes, and practice of researching and assessing funding mechanisms and sponsors, you will also have practice of working with colleagues and external stakeholders to develop projects and appropriately costed budgets.
