The function
Source catering is the University of Bristol's award-winning catering brand and are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual to take the function of Catering adjunct (Events) at the university. We operate a number of catering outlets which include 5 catered halls of residence, events & conference spaces, 9 cafes, 3 bars and a food court and will suit someone who has practice in the industry or can demonstrate hospitable and hard-working qualities.
This is an amazing opportunity that provides work-life balance, training & development, working alongside a large and supportive team and involvement in exciting food & drink projects. The contract is 35 hours a week with paid overtime, generous annual leave as well as extra paid days off for university closure days.
this function will primarily be focussed on delivering consistently high service standards for our conference & events which include VIP formal dinners, galas, student events, formals, conferences, pop-ups and more. These take place over multiple locations, sometimes at the same time and can happen all over the week, evenings and weekends so presentation, mobility and flexibility will be key.
What will you be doing?
Working on a flexible rota, you will assist other members of the team delivering our events from set up and dismantle, delivering consistently excellent service to our customers. You will support the management with logistical and administrative tasks, working closely with other departments arranging and delivering the events across different locations.
