Offer: Teacher of English:Job description:Job location: Moulton We are pursuing to appoint an exceptional and inspiring Teacher of English who is passionate about learning and teaching in English at GCSE and Functional expertise Level 2. We have a passionate and practiced Maths and English Team at the College providing vital learning to our students. Your tasks We are committed to the delivery of a consistent and high quality learning practice for our students. Teachers teach a range of students to develop their English expertise and qualifications, contact closely with curriculum teams to ensure that student progress is effective and timely and counsel students and maintain discipline as required. Staff are involved in the recruitment of students including attendance at Shows and Careers Conventions and Open events at the College and contribute and demonstrate fully and at all times the positive promotion and function modelling of the College core values. Person Specification The prosperous candidate will have a minimum of grade C in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent), hold or be willing to work towards and achieve, a Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Certificate in Education) or equivalent, along with commitment to, and evidence of, CPD. To hold Assessor / Verifier Qualifications would also be an advantage but is not essential. If you possess the capability to influence, persuade and inspire others, can demonstrate an capability to lead on developing, planning, delivery and evaluation of high quality, motivational and inclusive learning practices, and can evidence an capability to motivate students and improve student satisfaction, then we would love to hear from you!
