We are seeking for a flexible and motivated individual with a expertise of Sports Centres and Sports Facilities to join our team as a Casual Sports Facilities adjunct. Flexibility is key for this function. The hours vary depending on the sessions that are taking place, however, the core availcapability is:
2.00 pm - 6.00 pm Saturdays and during the summer there would be additional hours whilst staff undertake annual leave.
Your tasks
You will provide support to the Manager and manager in the day-to-day running of the Sports Centres, maintain safe working practices and conditions and ensure that all sports facilities are used in a safe and appropriate manner.
You will maintain standards set for the use of the Sports Facilities, including discipline, security, customer care, cleanliness and tidiness and supervise students working at the centre.
Person Specification
You will have practice of working in a similar environment, have a working expertise of a range of fitness equipment, be confident to deal with a wide variety of people and have excellent verbal and written communication expertise .
You will have a flexible approach to work and a commitment to high standards.
