Job Offer: Postgraduate Tutorial Programme Coordinator:Job description:Job location: Cambridge Lucy CavendishCollege, part of the University of Cambridge,is seeking to appoint a Postgraduate Tutorial Programme Coordinator. this function will play a leading function in the College'stutorial provision for all Postgraduate students but with a particular focus on incoming Masters students. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the design and delivery of a group tutorial programmes covering careers, mental health support and finance, amongst other topics. Additionally, you will support the team of Part-Time Postgraduate tutors and play an active function in college life and attend key college eventssuch as Graduate Induction, Matriculation, and Graduations. Alongside these tasks and responsibilities, you will be allocated a ?side' of Taught Masters tutees and will advise and signpost as necessary on aspects of health, welfare, and finance. You will be highly organised with an capability to multi-task, work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Alongside excellent oral and written communication expertise, you will be committed to high professional standards, have a friendly approach, be ableto manage sensitive and confidential issues and remain discreet, calm, and professional. You will be resilient, with the capability to exercise judgement and use initiative. With practice of producing written reports to a high standard, you will have practice of designing and delivering programmes or schemes of work and have excellent record keeping expertise. You will be educated to Master's degree level,have practice of supporting students in a pastoral capacity including those with complex needs or experiencing particular difficulties andhave previous practice of working with students on higher education programmes. Thisfunction is due to commence at the start of September 2024.
