Our core business activities are teaching and learning, widening access to education, research and innovation and technology and expertise transfer. - THE function - The prosperous applicant will contribute to: - the development, provision and administration of teaching and assessment within the School, notably in the areas outlined below; and - the research environment in the School of Education. The post holder will be expected to lead the programme development, teaching and assessment for the BSc in Childhood Studies on the Coleraine campus, and other teaching and administrative tasks within the School, as well as undertake research that aligns with the School's research environment. - ABOUT YOU - - Hold a doctorate in Education or related area (completed or near completion). - Have previous practice of working in or with educational settings. - Have skills and practice in Childhood studies, for example including Early Years provision, Special Educational Needs, Children's Development and marginalised/underprivileged groups.
